In the craft and hobby industry, she is the author of an award-winning book (The New Book of Image Transfer, Lark Books) and has created dozens of designs for magazines, books and TV. She's appeared over 250 times on QVC, HGTV and other networks, is a product developer of kits and tools, and has served on the boards of organizations associated with the $31 billion craft industry.
In the technology world, Haupert was part of the original USB marketing committee, developed and promoted products, managed eCommerce sites and was involved in Sales and Marketing for an Internet company. As she points out, she did SEO before SEO was cool, achieving top five status on Yahoo! for one of her customer’s sites.
Since 2006 Haupert has explored and embraced the title of 'girlfriend,' actively studying the benefits and blessings of female friendships. She created GIRLFRIENDOLOGY - the online community for women based on female friendship offering podcasts, newsletter articles, events, videos, links to other sites and more. Her goal is to make the world a better place, one friendship at a time. Haupert believes that strong bonds with friends can make women healthier, happier, less stressed, live longer and feel prettier. She believes that "life really is better together with your girlfriends."
